Moms celebrate baby’s firsts with new Pampers Baby Dry

Making every single day free from worries for moms and just full of firsts for babies, the world’s leading diaper brand Pampers recently unveiled the best and driest diaper in 10 years – Pampers Baby Dry. In an intimate launch held at Active Fun, Bonifacio High Street, Pampers highlighted how its latest diaper innovation helps babies achieve their many firsts in life and how mommies can celebrate them in a more delightful way.

Complementing the event’s theme Love at First Sight, Pampers featured its newest brand ambassador, first-time mom Andi Manzano-Reyes. Present to welcome Andi to the Pampers family, as well as enlighten mommy guests about the company’s newest surprises were communications manager of P&G (Singapore), Inc. Lisa Cunningham, country marketing manager of P&G Distributing (Phils.), Inc. Jan Ang and brand manager Camille Aquino.
“Ever since 1956, Pampers has made it its purpose to care for every baby’s happy, healthy development through providing complete sleep for babies all around the world,” said Cunningham. “And today, we are launching another series of firsts – which are all designed to help your baby achieve milestones every day,” she added.
To help guests understand how Pampers Baby Dry helps babies achieve overall development, Andi and event host Gelli Victor, who also recently gave birth to her daughter Giuliana, kicked off the program with a conversation with partner pediatrician Dra. Apple Alfonso. “Babies need twice as much sleep as adults. Sleep for them isn’t just about resting, it is about the overall development of their health,” shared Dra. Alfonso. Because a wet diaper is one of the most common reasons for negatively affecting baby’s sleep, Pampers wants to support all babies in achieving their firsts by ensuring up to 12 hours of dryness to help baby get complete sleep.
Pampers® Baby Dry features new core technology to deliver a thinner and drier diaper: a Soft Touch-Dry Layer which quickly absorbs wetness to keep it away from baby’s skin and Magic Gel which locks in wetness for up to 12 hours of skin dryness, so baby can get complete sleep from night until morning. It also has stretchy tape sides that provide a superior fit, while All Around Breathability and Soft Cotttony Cover give babies the ultimate skin comfort to ensure a night of complete sleep.
To show how Pampers Baby Dry really works, Jan Ang, with the help of Pampers Baby Wellness Specialists, conducted a live demo for mommy guests. Through the 12 hours dryness and stretchy sides demo, Pampers has proven that its newest product is indeed the best and driest diaper available in the market today. “Pampers was the first diaper in the Philippines, and now with this big innovation, we are again bringing a new standard of diapers to moms,” said Ang.
The product launch was followed by another big first from Pampers. Made especially for Filipino moms, online FB app Firstbook is a digital scrapbook that allows mommies to post and cherish their little bundle of joy’s newest accomplishments. Mommies can also publish baby’s very own Firstbook movie, a personalized video of all baby’s firsts that they can share on Facebook!
“This is truly a great gift for mommies like us!” said Andi. Andi, who gave birth to baby Pilar Olivia, has already posted a photo of her baby’s first long nap with the official hashtag #FirstsWithPampers. Moms who use FirstBook like Andi and also share baby’s Firstbook movie from now until June 2015 to stand a chance to win 1 year’s worth of all-new Pampers Baby Dry!
“With this newest product and online app from Pampers, we can greet each morning with smiles on our faces and the reassurance that our precious ones can truly achieve healthy development,” shared Andi. Pampers Baby Dry is now available in all stores nationwide, while moms can access FirstBook via http://www.firstbook.ph.

Be Healthy with Tacos

Did you know that eating tacos is good for health? No, this is not a trick question nor is it another food fad in the making. Strange as it sounds, this traditional Mexican dish is a good source of nutrients. How on earth is that possible?

                    CENTER IN CUBAO

Before you head to the two Taco Bell branches at the Gateway Mall, Araneta Center in Cubao, Quezon City, be sure to read this article first. It will open your eyes to the magic of tacos and their role in good nutrition.

Nutritionists say a taco can be healthy depending on its shell and the kind of filling it has. For those who live on another planet, a taco is made of corn or wheat tortilla that is folded or rolled around a filling. This thin flatbread can either be soft and flexible or hard and crispy. The latter U-shaped version is the most popular and was first described in a Mexican cookbook in 1949.

Eaten alone, tortillas won’t titillate your taste buds. However, when filled with beef, pork, chicken, seafood, vegetables, and cheese, they become delicious tacos that explode with delightful flavors. The best part is they’re nutritious, too.

MY FRIEND MARIZA   LOVE'S TACOS TOO

If your tacos have tomatoes, onions, and lettuce, expect a great meal filled with vitamins and minerals. From tomatoes and onions, you get vitamin C that can help fight infection and boost immunity. Lettuce adds fiber that aids in digestion and prevents constipation and other digestive problems.

Taco Bell also serve rice meals
Tacos that have beef, pork, shrimp and chicken are packed with protein and provide the energy you need to get going and keep up with an active lifestyle. Protein also helps build muscles. Mix in some cheese and you get another good source of protein as well as calcium.

 LOVE'S THE TACOS[TACO BELL]

The downside is that critics say typical fast food tacos can be bad if they’re loaded with fat and calories. For a healthier option, go for non-fried corn tortillas. Flour tortillas have more calories and frying only makes things worse.

For a filling and more nutritious meal, choose tacos with a lot of vegetables. Cheese and sour cream make a great-tasting taco, but too much is a no-no since they give you a lot of saturated fat and calories. As you can see, tacos can be healthy if they’re made with fresh, nutritious ingredients. Just like any other food, eat them right and you’ll find that tacos can fit into any diet plan.

If you’re hungry for tacos, the best place to be is Taco Bell. Since it opened in 2004, Taco Bell has attracted a lot of faithful followers that hunger for exciting dishes. Owned and operated by Philippine Pizza, Incorporated, Taco Bell is the home of terrific tacos, mouthwatering burritos, tasty quesadillas, cheesy potatoes, nachos, and tempting churros.

Its first Live Más store in Southeast Asia recently opened in Gateway Mall. Combining hearty Mexican meals and a cool Californian ambiance, the all new Taco Bell will surely delight loyal customers who long for the perfect taco experience that Filipinos have grown to love.
